Default Odd Inherent Wand Drops
the thought came to me while cehst running. i got a +15 -1 offhand, then a +10ogres offhand... and it brought me to wonder if there have been any of those two combinations combined. And further more, what other Crazy and Wild inherent drops have happend. i gues it can only pertain to offhands... kinda lame, i'll edit title now :P. sry for bad spelling and grammer, had to hurry cuz my ride is here to go drink some beer

Oh, yes. i've had a 18/18 grape one of those. can't remember if it was diff prof or just diff attribute.
... i'm kinda seeing how this thread wont go much further than it has. But, with a couple of beers in me last night i was thinking the possibilities were endless. whoops :P

I got this a month ago orso, and putted it on pc, but everyone told me to merch it.
Aren't all these 3 atr weapons merchfood?

Honestly jague, they aren't really "functional"(especially mine) so yes in that sense. I mean... maybe if u have some Crazy build that will utilize (in yur wands case) HCT fire and HSR Earth Magic. but then u'de have to find a matching offhand if u want full potential. ...or just a matching q-water hct fire and hsr earth offhand to match just for kicks!! which would actually be Really cool if u did find one! (i'll keep my eyes peeled )
But i would think if someone were to buy something like that they would first have to be perfect. Since they wont be Using it, those collectors like their stuph to look neat.

while on a run from Ling i got this weird wand. xD he told me to post it here.

gold q9 channeling wand
halves casting time of restoration magic ( chance 19%)
halves skill recharge of communing spells ( chance 19%)

first time i ever gotten a drop like this. o.o i wonder if i should merch it or try and sell it to a person xD

as long as the skill recharge&casting time is for 2 attributes you use, who gives a damn about the wand dmg, a caster should not be wanding...

Several months ago, some dude was trying to sell a three profession q9 20/20 Jade Wand on another site. I *really* hope his 700k reserve price was a joke.

Needless to say, it didn't get any bids. I guess someone who collects weirdness might pay a few plat for something like that, but they obviously don't have any practical use.

Y'know, I was just thinking... if ANet had spent more time designing the drop system to begin with, we might be free of lame inscriptions. Shields, wands, and foci should've had a much higher chance of dropping with two inherent mods, with the latter two having a higher chance of dropping with profession-matched inherents. Most Factions-exclusive skins for those three item types are extremely rare with good stats - rare enough (imo) that they might as well not be in-game at all. From the perspective of an average GW'er, anyway. For instance, how many players are using 20/20 Platinum Wands? Or even 10/+5^50? Lots of Mesmers with inscribable Domination versions, but decent oldschool ones are few and far between.

If you could Find matching Offhand with HSR Fire And HCT Earth It would be perfect for a build Using this elite...

Only diff is, yours isn't a 3 attrib wand, it's in fact a pretty sweet 20/19 wand, and since most ppl don't care about wand damage, it's also pretty usefull...
